2010-2011 Coaches: As we look ahead to next year, a small coaching subcommittee was created by the board to facilitate the communication and organization of the coaches for our High School, Freeze, and House programs. The committe members are Rick Tinkle, Chris Osborn, Beth Mosher, and Kevin Fandozzi. We're now contacting the Freeze coaches, and have created a 2010-2011 Coaching form (save as a Word document to fill out) that communicates their intentions and thoughts for next year. If you are interested in shaping our kids hockey experience at the Freeze Levels, please fill it out, and send it to brtophat@comcast.net by April 1st, 2010. House coaches will be asked to use the same means to communicate, but at a later date. Coaching Clinics start in the spring time frame for next year, so we'd like to make sure coaches that are interested have enough time to attend the clinics that will further their level of preparation. ***************************************** BAHA coaches are all outstanding volunteers, who dedicate themselves to providing the best hockey experience for all BAHA participants. Each of our coaches gives their personal time to attend a required USA Hockey coaching clinic and become a USA Hockey Certified Coach. Our many thanks go out to them for their time and efforts. Coaching in any youth program is a very rewarding experience. If you would like to become a USA Hockey coach in the BAHA league, please contact Kevin Fandozzi. 2009-10 Season Coaching Positions and Required Coaching Certification Level BAHA is seeking coaches for all divisions. Several local USA Hockey Clinics are listed below. Coaches are required to update certification every 3 years. Age division and their required Certification Level are listed below. Level I - Initiation Required Mini-Mite Division ( Age: 6 & under ) Mite Divison ( Age: 7 & 8 )
Level II - Associate Required Squirt Division ( Age: 9 & 10 )
Level III - Intermediate Required Peewee Division ( Age: 11 & 12 ) Bantam Division ( Age: 13 & 14 ) Midget Division ( Age: 15 thru 18 )
